Work is...probably going to get better soon, right? And then it'll probably get busy again by next month. So before the crazy begins, let me talk about books, movies, and drama:
I gave up on Witcher 3 recently. I finished the main game and was playing the bonus DLC that came with the game and it was just...too much of the same. So now I'm playing Just Cause 4 since it's that time of year when I need a good outlet for rage.
I'm amazingly very free today. I did minor organization of my work space, calculated our money, and did extra duty and calculated our mortgage payments. So now I'm going to post about various entertainment things and then work on my The Eternal Love posting.
Last night, we watched Independence Day: Resurgence. I expected it to be bad and it's pretty bad. But the good thing is that it's laughably bad so we had a good time mocking it while we're watching it.
I finished a book! My reading speed had really suffered this year, hence the excitement. It didn't help that Smiling, Proud Wanderer is the size of four normal books. So today, I finally finished the last book of that book and it marks only the second book I've finished in 10 months. Geeze.
Recently, we've been going through quite the backlog of movies we sort of want to watch, but wasn't excited enough about them to actually watch them in theaters.
Yay! I finally finished a book after a whole six months. It's slow going for me to not have finished a book for that long, but I partially blame that on reading a really long book (Smiling Proud Wanderer) on the side. So this is the first completed book of the year!
